HOW TO ADD FAVORITE WEBSITES ON INTERNET EXPLORER
“Internet Explorer” is a browser or “vehicle” to surf on the Internet. “Favorites” are websites you like and want to keep for the future and you don’t want to have to memorize their addresses. So let us save a “favorite” in IE (Internet Explorer): type in “Marilyn Monroe Some Like It Hot” in the Google search bar. (Note, your searches don’t have to be in caps).
Select one of the results and open it by a left click. Move the cursor to the “star” in the top right corner of the page, left click it, and look right below to see the bar, “add to favorites.” Left click that bar.
See the large rectangular box named “Add a Favorite.” You can either just accept the name filled in the box “Name” (here it’s Msn.com-Hotmail) or you can rename it by just typing in “Msn” or some other name, then at bottom left click “Add” to save the favorite.
To find the saved favorite next time you’re on the web, left click the star arrow at the top right, select your favorite from the list and left click it to open that favorite-this saves time and you don’t have to memorize the specific website.
